What is a Community Development Corporation?
A Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening local communities by supporting economic growth, revitalization, and quality-of-life initiatives. CDCs work collaboratively with residents, businesses, and local partners to attract investment, encourage development, support entrepreneurs, and advance projects that create vibrant, sustainable places to live and work.
How is FLXG CDC organized?
FLXG CDC is administered by FLX Gateway (SCOPED Inc). We have a volunteer board that meetings monthly and subcommittees to manage specific projects.
What can the FLXG CDC do?
We focus on community-centered economic development actives that strength both local businesses and quality of life in Schuyler County. These efforts include:

Grants that require a 501c(3) applicant.

Redevelopment and revitalization efforts.

Downtown beautification projects such as flower planters, signage, and seasonal decor.
