February Schuypreneur Boot Camp: Using AI in Real-World Marketing

Marketing tools are changing fast — and AI is everywhere. But for many small businesses, the bigger question isn’t what AI can do, it’s what actually helps.

The February Schuypreneur Boot Camp will focus on exactly that: how AI fits into real-world marketing work, where it adds value, and where it often causes more frustration than results.

A practical conversation, not a sales pitch

This session will be led by Brent Sharkey, a marketing professional with experience across industries including manufacturing, healthcare, printing, outdoor brands, and freelance work. Brent’s background spans design, marketing, public relations, sales, and video production — giving him a grounded perspective on how marketing actually gets done day to day.

Rather than focusing on trends or hype, Brent will share:

  • how he uses AI in everyday marketing tasks

  • where AI saves time and helps generate ideas

  • where it breaks down or introduces risk

  • how to decide when not to use it

This is not a technical training or a demo-heavy presentation. It’s a candid look at how modern tools fit into real marketing workflows — especially for small teams and solo business owners.

Built for small businesses and entrepreneurs

This Boot Camp session is designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners who want:

  • clearer marketing ideas and messaging

  • help getting started (or unstuck) with content

  • a better understanding of AI’s limits and tradeoffs

  • practical guidance they can actually apply

As with all Schuypreneur Boot Camp sessions, participants are encouraged to bring questions, ideas, or current marketing challenges. The format is conversational and flexible — attend to listen, ask questions, or work through a specific issue.
